Inspect
The infield, mound or pitching circle, base areas, warning track and drainage are checked for season-long wear.Repair Low Spots
Low spots are repaired and holes filled so water does not settle in them over the winter.Grade and Level
The infield is properly graded and leveled, and infield mix is added and corrected where needed.Edge
Grass is edged around the infield, mound and home plate to stop the lip from growing over the off-season.Shutdown

Reseed
Thin and damaged areas, especially goal mouths and sidelines, are reseeded while soil is still warm.Aerate

When should seasonal field maintenance happen?
There are three natural points: pre-season, right before opening day; the spring start of the season; and the fall close-out. Each visit has its own checklist, and a recurring plan schedules them for you.
Do you offer recurring field maintenance?
Yes. We offer ongoing maintenance packages as well as one-time services. Recurring packages are customized to the type of field, how heavily it is used and what the facility needs, so no two plans are identical.
